I started the year with 11 goals; unfortunately, I wasn’t very successful with any of them. Let’s review:
- Eat better / exercise more – I joined Weight Watchers and lost almost 30 pounds. Then I stopped counting points, but still managed to pretty much maintain my weight loss. Then shit happened. A close family friend passed away, Petey got sick and then died, my little foster kitten died… Needless to say, since I’m an emotional eater, this didn’t bode well for my weight. Back on the wagon starting tomorrow.
- Go on at least one freaking date – Nope, nothing, nada, zero, nein. Seriously, doesn’t anyone know ANYONE?
- Organize – Nope. I had a few things done and those are still pretty much in place (kitchen, hall closet), but it’s still a disaster area in here.
- Find a new job – Ugh, no. Overall, the year wasn’t too bad, but I still dislike working there.
- Pay off my credit card / cut back on spending – Well, I cut back on spending, but my credit card has a huge balance again. See Decisions, Decisions.
- Blog more consistently – Eh, I’ve probably done better than past years, so that’s good =)
- Painting – I got one side of the trim of one doorway painted (one coat). Fail.
- Finish projects – Mom finished both the nightstand and the chair for me!
- Stress less – Still stressing a lot…
- Read more – I don’t know if I read much more than last year, but I did read.
- Create more – I probably didn’t.
