I initially found this house on the Country Living website. Then, after a search to find out more, found a post on Apartment Therapy about it as well. The owner actually commented on the Apartment Therapy post and provided a link to her Flickr album of the house.
I’ve always been rather fascinated with kit houses. I’m not sure why, but I also love the prefab homes that used to be sold in the Sears Roebuck catalogs. Something about the simplicity and manageability of the homes, especially when compared to the McMansions of today.
In this particular home (kit from Shelter-Kit), the owners have also kept the decorating style simple. It’s a bit Scandinavian and a bit modern – a combination which works quite well here.
